Wonderful place - Super Food - Half price pasta on Monday Our family just returned from Paisano's Monday night half price pasta night. We had 3 different pastas and all three were delicious and very different from one another. I had penne with sausages, spinach and red peppers in a garlic sauce, while my husband had his pasta with chicken and mushrooms in a pink sauce. My son's pasta was also served in a pink sauce with ham. The half price pasta is a bargain especially since they are huge portions. In addition to the complete Italian menu, their are pizzas with all sorts of toppings, and there are lots of specials with fish and chicken at reasonable prices.
Paisano's is right next to the Borders in the Watchung Square Mall where you can shop at Targets or TJ Maxx or Pet Smart before or after your meal.
Our server was very nice, and quickly and politely corrected any problems, like turning down the volume on the music.
It is great to be able to bring your own beer or wine to accompany the food. Thank goodness this little gems is so close and so economical, we can visit often. [06 Aug 2006 10:08:50]

Quantity, not quality They are friendly and seem to have a deal lock on all business for local schools. Maybe it's because we're from Brooklyn, but we prefer less cheese, a hotter oven with thinner crust and tasty tomato sauce. Good effort, great marketing, but try buying some mozzarella at a Mozzarella Factory, get some local tomatoes, even if you have to charge a bit more! [06 Jul 2007 23:08:55]
