Good Bombay Snack food This is a new place that opened last year serving Bombay Snack food and South Indian dishes. The food has consistently been fresh and delicious every time my family and I go. We are Indian and have pretty high standards when it comes to the food, and they have always met our expectations. The dosas are very good too considering they are a Bombay establishment and not a Madras one, and we know our south indian dishes too. My dad loves the rava dosa and my mom loves the masala dosa, all crispy and crepe-like with the yummy potato filling. I prefer the bombay chaats and blel puri. You can tell they are fresh. The service is wonderful and the atomsphere is very comfy and warm. Lots of Indian families on weekend afternoons enjoying the food without the hassle of going to Edison. Go there for some good satisfying and economical fare. Thanks! [03 Apr 2005 22:39:54]

Why the price increase? I love going to this restaurant and especially enjoy the buffet. The food is very fresh and while the selection is a little limited, it is very tasty. I have noticed that the price of the buffet has gone up twice now, I believe. In my opinion, the Indian Buffet in Lawrenceville serves a more rounded buffet and outshines this one in overall quality and now, price.
The atmosphere and the chairs also leave a little to be desired. Plastic cups are a little unexpected "cheapness" that is not reflected in the prices. It is great to have a good Indian restaurant in the neighborhood but, I will drive a little farther to save a buck and get better food when I have the time. [26 Jul 2005 15:29:22]

A nice Chat food place Bombay Delight is a good Chat food. They seem to have redesigned their interiors now and it looks much better. The collection of Old photos of Mumbai/Bombay is worth a look if you are from Bombay!!
PROS: Most food items are tasty, buffet is good, the Chats, and Bhel Puri is real good.
CONS: The plastic cups for serving water is "cheap". I was suprised to see they serve champagne, but don't have any glasses for it!! Too few waiters/waitresses when it is crowded.
Overall, if you are not in a mood to go to Edison, you can give it a try for sure!! [03 Sep 2005 12:59:00]

Delicious, clean, spicy amazing Indian food I have ordered for Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Chilli, Chicken biriyani. These item have all tasted wonderful and amazing. I have eaten at so many other Indian restaurants in the US. I feel the food I ate at Bombay Delight has been the best. I am sure all other food items will also taste great. [30 Mar 2006 20:57:06]

Possibly the best food I've had We've just had a delicious meal at this restaraunt and cannot praise it enough. The food was great, courteous staff, reasonably priced and a great overall experience. Highly recommended. [26 Jul 2006 23:06:05]

Very mediocre food, not worth the money We happened to visit Bombay delight on a weekday. The Vegetable pokora looked as if it is reheated in the microwave. It was definitely not fresh.
The waiter mentioned that it takes 20 minutes for every order as everything is freshly made. Believe me, all the orders will come to the table within 5 minutes
Idly was half done & Sambar tasted stale. The mango lassi also tasted sour and to cover it up, there was extra dose of sugar.
I would not recommend that my friends visit this place. I don’t mind riding all the way to Edison to have tasty food. [17 Jan 2007 22:13:34]
