Best place to eat in the mall
This is a walk-up Chinese buffet with fried or steamed rice and about 8 dishes. This kind of restaurant seems to be on every street corner in Los Angeles, but Alamogordo has only this one. The food is fairly good, always hot, and you get instantaneous service. Seating is in the middle of the mall.

For a more upscale buffet visit Wok Inn or New China Buffet. The food there is not really any better but you get a much wider variety and a better dining ambiance. Chinese Express is probably not worth a special trip, but if you're already in the White Sands Mall, this is the best place to eat.    [02 Aug 2007 16:21:18]
