Description

Mostly Mexican food, with the usual favorites but also menudo and a Mexican steak. Also has hamburgers and fries, and a few steaks. An old-fashioned restaurant right out of the fifties, with lots of booths and some tables in the middle, it even has the old-style crank cash register with the hundreds of buttons on top.

good tamales
Service is very good here, always attentive and polite. The restaurant has a calm, peaceful atmosphere, so you don't feel rushed or pressured to finish and get out. The food is fairly ordinary, but I do like their tamale plate (good texture and a lot of meat). The food is not very spicy.    [25 May 2008 19:12:13]
