They know cake, and they know it well. They do everything. Ice cream cake, custom cakes, and they always have plenty of decorated cakes ready to take away with you at a moment's notice.

Ummmm, Seriously Disappointed.
I usually love ABC, but I asked them to make a Shrek cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday. They sounded like it wasn't the first request they'd gotten for a Shrek cake, and seemed pretty confident. A wedding to remember
I got my wedding cake from ABC and they did an AMAZING JOB. My cake was perfect and delivered on time. They were great about communication and were always friendly and prompt.

In addition to my wedding cake, I have also purchased birthday cakes, baby shower cakes and ice cream cakes that were all equally good.

The only down side are the display cakes. They could use some updating. They have been picked and poked at (This is an understatement!!!!). They DON'T do the final product justice.    [18 Jul 2005 15:08:22]

Very pleased with our wedding cake
My daughter's wedding was July 23rd in New Mexico. The cake we ordered from ABC was very nicely done. It was simply and elegantly decorated, just as we wanted, to receive fresh flowers. It traveled well. Most importantly, it also was very delicious, both the mocha and lemon layers. bad business ethics
I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday and we paid for it in advance as it was a specialty cake. When we got there to pick up the cake it was not the cake that we ordered. I called to talk to the manager, "Bob" and he was extremely rude and used offensive language. In a nutshell, I would not purchase even a cookie from their bakery in the future. I will say however that the employees of the bakery were much more professional than "Bob", who could use a lesson in business ethics as well as a lesson in verbal etiquette.    [08 Oct 2005 21:10:26]

Moved away years ago and still recommend your bakery to folks in ABQ
The day I found ABC Cake Shop was the day I stopped worrying about what the cake would taste like. For every occasion at home and at work that called for a cake, I ordered from ABC Cake shop and every single time the cake has been incredibly delicious. I have moved away from Albuquerque but I still highly recommend it to everyone that I know who lives there and not one has been dissappointed. I wish I could have moved ABC Cake Shop with me! The staff is warm and very professional and see to every last detail. Service like that is hard to come by and greatly appreciated. Bad Customer Service
I called ABC to ask them if they made cupcakes for weddings and that if they did, I was coming over to sample their cupcakes because I would be ordering 150 cupcakes from them.

I came in and told them what I was doing, rather than having me come back to taste a 'fresh' batch up cupcakes, they pointed to the cupcakes in their display case and I bought two. They were cold, dry, and old. Needless to say, I lost confidence in their service and taste.    [12 Jul 2006 16:05:12]

ABC is my only cake choice
I have bought several birthday cakes at this shop. I also have purchased cookies, desserts, and other treats here. I have been going there for 4 years. I think they are professional, attentive and do great work. The cake is always ready when I ask it to be, very fresh and delicious. It always looks great,too. They are a little understaffed for as busy as they are, the wait can take a bit sometimes, but it's worth it.    [07 Feb 2007 14:19:14]

Terrible staff
My wife called for pricing on cakes for my son's first birthday. After receiving prices she went in to place an order, the staff on hand was extremely rude and told her that her pricing was all wrong. When a manager was consulted he was even worse with his treatment of my wife telling her he didn't care if she went somewhere else.
