Three choices in burger size-wise. Don't forget to add the green chiles and cheese to the standard lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion. Or, they will fix them "your way." Service is a little slow at times, but this is because they are not pre-made to sit in a wrapper or box under the heat lamps! Blake's statewide also offers hot dogs, chile dogs, barbeque (of a fashion), chicken, turkey, and fish sandwiches. Excellent chicken, fries, drink combo-basket also. And... the onion rings! It's A Blake's Lota Burger

New Mexico's Best
I have to say that Blake's has been a part of the fast food industry for a long time. The best thing at Blake's is the Green Chile Lotaburger. I especially love the fries because that style is fading. I really don't like the wait time, but the result is a meal that is truly New Mexican! The Only Thing I Miss About New Mexico
I left NM in 1983 and still have dreams about a Blake's Lotaburger with green chile and cheese. I've been back five times and always eat at Blake's as many times I can. They haven't changed in 40 years -- yummy! The only good thing you can say about the ambiance, is that the place is (almost) always really clean.    [30 Aug 2005 15:45:06]

Best Blakes in Rio Rancho Area
Bernalillo Blake's Lota Burger is the best in the Rio Rancho Area. Food is good, fresh and hot. Made to your order. Staff is friendly and courteous. Dining area is kept fairly clean. Restrooms need to be cleaned more often.    [12 Nov 2006 20:32:53]
