Elegant Dining at an Elegant Hotel This beautiful, Victorian Hotel/Lodge is one of Southern New Mexico's most enjoyable places to visit. The restaurant's food is well prepared, well presented, and the service is very attentive. Not cheap, but the best never is as we all know. Great for honeymoons, or anniversaries! Elegant Dining...Good Food Rebecca's at the Lodge is mountaintop elegant dining in a casual atmosphere. Whether you are there for a special occasion, or just dropped in after playing golf...or just showed up in shorts and sandals...Rebecca's welcomes you. Beautiful old building, well maintained, and clean. Service is good, but not top notch...this is OK, because the atmosphere is never stuffy. Relax and enjoy your meal. The food is delicious and well prepared and presented. Nice selection on menu. We had lunch...quiche and a spicy chicken and pasta meal were both delicious. The cherry cobbler (it was the height of the cherry season) was amazing!! The best I have ever had...hands down! The food overall rates an "A" but perhaps not an "A+." (Except for the cobbler.) Prices are a little up there...so be prepared for that. Lunch for two will run you...minimum of 18-20 dollars...with drinks or desert...perhaps 30 or so. [14 Jun 2006 12:48:45]
