The Mexican style cuisine at this restaurant is outstanding. The use of their own roasted chile is a plus. Their homemade guacamole is absolutely wonderful.    [23 Oct 2002 13:14:32]

EVERYTHING IS GOOD!
We stayed in Fort Sumner for several months eating @ Fred's sometimes 2x a day. NEVER having a bad meal. The antique back bar always made me wonder about its history. Beer, wine and mixed drinks were all above average. CHARMING place.    [30 Aug 2005 12:19:12]

Everthing At Fred's is GOOD!!
Food was very tasty and atmosphere was friendly. Owners were very helpful and friendly. The only restaurant in town that serves alcohol.    [29 Sep 2005 19:51:34]
