A Great Experience Southern New Mexico is blessed to have a restaurant of this caliber in our area. The food was great; probably the best "sirloin steak" I have eaten... and oh, those skillet potatoes were wonderful. The waitress was very efficient and helpful. The manager visited our table and told of the updating and history of the restaurant. It was pleasant experience dining at Tinnie. I might add that my wife & I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Tinnie in 1974. This time we celebrated our 55th anniversary. What a great experience. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for an excellent place to dine!!!! [10 Dec 2004 14:03:52]

Where did Billy the Kid go? I remember eating at the Silver Dollar with my dad when I was growing up in Roswell. I stopped at the bar for a welcome cold beer in summer of 2002 when I rode my Harley from Indiana. What a disappointment to find that gentrification has now taken over. The bar (the "lounge") doesn't open until 4:00, dining room at 5:00. Please. [25 Jan 2006 14:51:16]
