Great Selections, Easy to Miss Soup, salads, sandwiches. Never had anything bad here. I've not seen Japanese stationery for sale here, but you can grab a cup of joe and a cookie to go or...come late for a show. Have not done the latter, but hear it is good. (Google their website for more info.)

Very Nice Cafe...Recommended for Lunch I stopped in to check out the Boba Cafe having heard good things about it. It is a very colorful, clean, nicely decorated, and friendly little bistro on Espina not far from the U. They do have a little courtyard for outdoor dining. The service I found friendly and efficient with young "hip" type girls with large tattoos on their arms playing the part of waitresses today. While I did find them amusing and personable, I did not get a follow-up from a waitress and I believe the girls were too busy talking with each other and singing with the music to be considered real professional, but I really have no complaints with the service. The atmosphere here is best described as casual and hip! The menu is mostly sandwiches, soups, salads, and appetizers. The prices are average for food, and, I thought, a little high for some drinks. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on wheat with fries. The fries were properly blanched, but lacked flavor. They need a different oil or some seasoning on those babies. But, they were OK. Rate them a B. The sandwich had a nice size piece of grilled chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a ranch sauce or mayo on it, as well as a large red pepper...all on toasted wheat bread. ....it was delicious. Rate the sandwich an A-. All-in-all, I was impressed with this place. Because the fries were a little less than excellent I do have to give the food rating a four instead of a five. I would really love to try their salads and soups some day. This is a very nice little bistro and recommended for casual dining. It is just lacking a little here and there which prevents it from moving ahead from the very good to the excellent category. Most people, however, will find the place fun and the food good.
