Great Food in a Mom and Pop Atmosphere Casablanca is a small place at the corner of Missouri and El Paseo. Don't be fooled by the appearance: the place is nice inside, clean, and the owners make an attempt to present a nice environment. Nothing fancy. The woman waiting on tables --about ten of them-- was quiet, reserved, and pleasant. She was not the greatest waitress in the world and I was never offered a refill on my water, but her pleasant demeanor went a long way. The number of Mediterranean dishes are a little limited as you might expect in such a small place, but the portions are large and the food is delicious. Very well prepared. I had the lamb kabobs and a Greek salad; it was wonderful. The rice was delicious and the lamb great! Juicy, seasoned and cooked just right. Prices are a little up there, but well worth the money. Wonderful food. [19 Apr 2006 17:50:23]
