Pretty good, with a few minor quibbles
A pretty satisfactory meal, with two small exceptions:
1. The New York Strip was cut too thin-- only about 1/2 inch thick; I'm used to this cut of steak averaging 3/4 inch to an inch thick.
2. The fries were incredibly over-salted; why bother to salt them at all? I'd rather salt them to my taste.

A fine dining experience
The Cattle Baron offers a fine dining experience. The salad bar is exceptional, the atmosphere cozy and peaceful. The food is very good if not exceptional. A cut above the average. [16 Dec 2005 22:00:00]
