Run Away..Run Away
I originally arrived here looking for Tatsus Japanese Restaurant I read about on the Frommer's Travel website. The big sign out front still said it was there, but sadly, E2 has taken its place.

Unremarkable. The single word I'd use to describe the place. First off there is ZERO ambience, no decorations or Mexican music, just heavy metal leaking out from the back of the place. I had the Combo Plate, the two enchiladas were in corn tortillas, that's about the most redeeming thing I can say. The taco had some meat that I couldn't identify, reminded me of back when JITB was using kangaroo in their tacos. Beans tasted straight out of the can.

The hostess was friendly and stopped to see me several times.

A dead giveaway about the food should have been that I was there at 5:30 in the evening and was the only one in the place.

Great food...
It amazes me how people can be so rude when it comes to commenting on a restaurant. E2 was one of my favorite places to dine. Good food, fast service, friendly people, inexpensive menu & awesome catering. Since my occupation moved me to another state, I miss the food here. Anyway - to the person who left an "anonymous" comment, I suggest you try it out again. Tatsu's has been long gone - besides, Tatsu's was a BIG rip off when it came to their prices on their menu! I'm happy for E2 - they branched out originally from Dick's Cafe, only with better food, better service and an awesome location.    [11 Apr 2005 12:51:56]
