THE place to eat in LA! Best Chili in Town! Great variety of mexican dishes - try the Double Bean Burrito Plate XMas with onions! Eat outside under the New Mexican almost always blue sky! [15 May 2002 23:47:45]

Tastier for breakfast This place looks like a shack in between two auto shops but the food there is excellent. The best thing on their menu, however, is the breakfast burrito. Of course, to get the biggest one with everything on it costs about five bucks, but it is definately worth it. Eggs, bacon, sausage, chorriso, green chili, and more. It is hard to finish and oh so perfectly made. I used to buy one every day before school. [01 Apr 2003 17:12:11]

This place ROCKS! One of the best places to eat ever. I love RED chili and Chili Works has the best RED chili in Northern New Mexico. Great service. Every time we take our daughter there the cashier gives her a Little Debbie snack cake. [09 Aug 2004 14:25:45]

Best Burritos Anywhere This place is the best local secret Los Alamos has to offer. I have eaten there many times in the past and keep going back for their breakfast burritos. I highly recomend the Works. This place was a good reason to work in Los Alamos, even though the commute was 45 minutes each way. I am Jones'n for a burrito right now. [21 Jan 2005 08:08:53]

Their service is horrible I admit that the food is delicious but the service is horrible; delveries have not made it twice and they take the phone off the hook so you can't get through. I was yelled at once from the delivery person.....good food but how do they stay in business with employees and work ethics like that? [12 Aug 2005 12:06:05]

I love Chili Works You can't be in Los Alamos for more than a day and not eat a super green burrito from Chili Works. They are amazing! Can't find anything close to it anywhere else. [12 Mar 2006 19:56:33]

It *is* a shack It is a tiny, grimy shack with nowhere to sit inside. Most customers are take away, and the kitchen is very busy at lunch time: deliveries then are not practical unless your order is huge and you place it ahead of time. The menu is small but what is on the menu is tasty, mostly New Mexico fare. [30 Mar 2006 16:40:32]

I need my fix I recently moved away from LA, but I am seriously considering buying a plane ticket just to buy some breakfast burritos and take them home. [26 May 2006 11:07:14]

Best burritos anywhere Awesome red chile. Hopefully you will be there on carne adovada day. Or just go every day. And take your food to the pond to eat it, the amenities are a bit lacking. [21 Aug 2006 18:19:08]

I got my fix! It hasn't changed a bit; still the best burritos around. I had to hit it two mornings in a row on a recent visit and it's as good as ever. As another poster said, I should have taken some home. [25 Sep 2006 16:03:15]
