(day) MMMM Donuts.. (night) MMMM More.. Daylight Donuts was bought up and is now called Daylight Delights. Gone are all the antiques and some the Los Alamos memorabilia, but there are quite a lot of furnishings. In the morning, you will find a glass case with apple strudels and chocolate cakes and such. This is more than just a Donut shop; it's the place to meet the people of Los Alamos, have coffee, eat cinnamon rolls, Bear Claws, caramel covered wheat rolls (if you need fiber), muffins, breakfast burritos (they are kinda small and doughy, but besides that very good), French crullers, crepes, waffles. At night, you get much the same thing, and pastries like Binetes (don't know how to spell it, but similar to pastries I've found in New York). If you are craving desserts, they probably have whatever you are craving.
Aldo the Coffee and Cokes are refillable, and they have Tea as well. [10 Sep 2005 07:13:51]
