Best Chinese in town We've lived in the area for a year and have been looking for a really good Chinese restaurant the whole time. We finally found one.
So far we've eaten there twice, each time ordering two different dishes off the Chef's Special section of the menu. Every item has been absolutely top-notch. Reasonable prices and uniquely delicious cuisine. The mango chicken is especially recommended.
I haven't tried enough of the menu to preclude the possibility of weak points. But from what we've tried, this is where we go when we want Chinese food. [07 Jul 2006 17:28:30]

Rather have Panda Express So I have loved Peeking house that used to be where this restaurant is. I was sad that Peeking house was leaving because I have loved their food since as long as they have been there. I tried Best Lee's shortly after they opened and was very disappointed. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken. It was dry and not very tasteful. I love Chinese food because of the spices, sauces and tastes. This dish didn't have much of any. [09 Jul 2006 19:45:02]

fair to midlin Hot & Sour soup is fair, needs a little more hot and sour. Pot Stickers are great when you are in the mood. The special seafood soup is weak, a nasty egg drop base (tasteless) and some sea food mixed in for good measure. Didn't care for rice, fried or steamed and don't get me started on the noodles...
I will go back when in the mood for hot & sour and ask for add'l spicing.
Evening diners may be pounded by the noise from the neighboring establishment, and I do mean pounded! [07 Dec 2006 20:47:21]

Best Lee's is the Best So sad to see others' opinions not as high as mine. I LOVE BEST LEE'S! I was so happy when my bet on a new Chinese place took over for Peking House paid off- from the tasty cashew chicken, to the just spicy enough to be good Mongolian beef all the way to the exceptional take home containers- I was satisfied. We moved to Rio Rancho 3 years ago, and we tried a couple of other Chinese places in the area and were disappointed. Best Lee's is the closest we have gotten to the East Coast type Chinese food that we had grown accustomed too. We were very pleased with the staff and have never had a bad meal. We moved here a year ago from New Orleans where all restaurant food must be good and delicious! We are never disappointed in the food at Best Lee's. We order take-out often and the food is the same tasty delights. I call when I leave work and pick up on my way home. Lee's phone number will stay in my book!! [01 Apr 2008 17:08:00]

Best Chinese food in Rio Rancho We loved Peking House and were disappointed when they left, thinking we wouldn't find anything better, but we were pleasantly surprised as Best Lee's even beats Peking House for taste and quality. I love eating here. You can't find anything better in New Mexico! Believe me I've tried. [15 Apr 2008 20:38:23]
