Fast food restaurant serving a variety of ice cream products, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches. Located on the South side of Southern Blvd about two blocks East of Unser. This Dairy Queen has indoor dining.
The first Dairy Queen store opened in Joliet, Illinois in 1940 and now has over 5,700 locations operating throughout the world. The majority of Dairy Queen restaurants are individually owned and operated franchises.

Quality Ice Cream and Food
Staffing was friendly and courteous. Knowledgeable in products. Always busy when I get there, but handles the business well. Orders are right and as ordered. Drive thru is efficient. Restaurant clean. [26 Oct 2004 19:20:36]

Good Food and Ice Cream
Employees are real friendly and courteous. Can be quite busy, but the employees seem to handle the business. Food is always cooked just right and your order is always as ordered. Tables sometimes are not very clean, but otherwise it's a good place to eat. [12 Nov 2006 19:44:46]

Still closed :(
Had a fire about 4 months ago- still not opened as of December 5. :( Great place to eat and have ice cream; wish they would open soon as we used to go there all the time and have been going to other, newer places. GREAT DAIRY QUEEN
Excellent service, fast, courteous, and the orders are right. This Dairy Queen is probably the best I've ever been to, the owner cares about doing business the right way, and proves it with actions! DQ is a great place
The food is good, sometimes not on the mark as far as being hot but it is fresh. The parking lot is mega crowded and they need to expand the parking. Since reopening, there are a lot of young girls there that are efficient, but often times clueless. The gals that have been there for some time, Michelle, Shaina, Kim, are super and quite polite and efficient and know their stuff, great managers. WTG! [16 Aug 2008 16:57:43]
