Impressive
Service was excellent. Waiter kept up on drinks, bread, dipping sauce. Very Classy look. Classical music played. Quite corner spots available. Kids menu available. Lunch prices reasonable. Food served hot and fresh. No mistakes. Parking leaves a little less than desired. Casual attire acceptable. Food was VERY good in taste, smell, and presentation.    [26 Oct 2004 20:35:58]

Great Italian for Rio Rancho New Mexico
Server very attentive, complimentary bruschetta, great rolls (been craving them since our visit), huge selection on menu. I had Chicken Marsala with veggies- delicious, aromatic, delicate and flavorful! Try it out! Reasonable prices, nice atmosphere.    [07 Dec 2004 13:01:32]

Real Old-time NE US Italian Food
Shades of my youth in Northeastern US. They do Italian better than many places who put on airs. The food is worthy of seeking out.

Decor a bit faded. Don't let that or the lackluster luncheon buffet stop you. For noon, order off the menu instead. Take it from someone who's only had a thousand Italian restaurant meals!

Reasonable too, a good local choice.    [27 Jun 2005 00:31:37]

Italian Food at its Best
Italian food is not my first choice, but this is different. The food is beyond all others, the service is totally five star and I am very hard on service. I really enjoy the owner, he is a professional and knows customers are important. Try the Lamb Chops if on the Menu, they are to die for.    [12 Nov 2007 11:05:16]

The Best
I have been trying to get to the Pasta House for over a year. I am so happy I made it. I took my mother and sister Saturday night, the day before Mother's Day. From the moment we entered we felt welcomed, at ease and as if we were back in New York. The owner, Joe, was friendly and we immediately fell in love with him his food, his waiter John. As it turns out, his father had a bakery on Junction Blvd in Jackson Heights and as a young girl I went there. What a small world !!
The veal melted in our mouths; the salad was so fresh and an excellent portion. The bruschetta and bread served when you first sit down was a beautiful blend of flavors. We had the sampler for an appetizer and we could not stop talking about how fantastic the mushrooms, fried cheese, and zucchini were. (I didn't do the calamari.) And then to top it off we had dessert. The homemade cannoli was the finest I have tasted. My sister had the tiramisu and she said it was beyond any expectations. My mother had the Black Forest cake and she couldn't stop talking about it. All in all, this is my new favorite place to go. And of all funny things, my son surprised me today, Mother's Day, and told me he is taking me to the Pasta House. What a coincidence. Of course I said yes. Great place, great food, this is the best!!    [11 May 2008 16:40:47]
