Limited menu
First we went with our family, 2 kids included. Menu was limited with about 12 items to pick from, mostly things like frog legs, snails and fish...

Don't go unless you're really in the mood for this type of thing. I didn't know it was French so it's my fault. We ended up having to leave so I can't tell you if the food was good, since my kids just couldn't find a thing that they wanted to eat. One strange thing, they have a bar, but no fountain Cokes... they brought out cans of Cokes. Weird for a higher end restaurant. Rude owner/good food
Don't bother making reservations, they ignore them. We had to wait over 30 mins for our 7:30pm reservation. While the food and ambiance (could hardly tell it used to be a drive through liquor store) was good, there are plenty of other good restaurants in the Ruidoso area . . . without the condescending attitude!    [18 Jul 2006 16:29:17]
