Superb waiters!
My daughter and I walked forever trying to find something we wanted to eat... so we stopped in here. The food was fairly good; I had a steak and coconut shrimp, my daughter had stuffed sole, it was very tiny but good and plenty for her. The salad bar sucked... basically lettuce and a few toppings... not anything to remember it by. The one thing I can say is that the place is very pretty, and the waiters and waitresses were awesome! My daughter turned 21 and they gave her a free drink (her first legal drink) and after dinner we needed a cab, so they called us one. The cab (only 1 cab in town, ugh) was backed up for an hour, so they let us camp out at a window seat (coveted) and even gave us free cappuccinos! The manager even came and chatted us up and we had a good time. I would eat here again, simply because the people were so warm and nice. The table next to me joined in on our conversations and we ended up just feeling like we made a lot of new friends! Really, the food was fine, not bad at all. Awesome!
I visited Mountain Annie's with my friend in September, 2004. Had the special Annie's baked chicken with mushroom wine sauce, and it was without question the best meal I have EVER eaten! I wish I could spend a month in that beautiful little town. The owner of Mountain Annie's (Mountain Annie) welcomed us like we were old friends, and the service we received was superb. Best recommendation -- it was great! My friend had slow-cooked brisket and he was just as enthusiastic about our "find" as I. good fun,great food, new friends
Two Texas friends and I visited in February and had a fabulous time. We were awed by the facilities and knew we were in for an interesting evening. From the get-go the Strathmann family made sure their guests were made to feel comfortable. It was like being welcomed into their home! After a most pleasant meal and getting acquainted with others at our table the fun began with the entertainment. This theatre is a perfect setting for the "intimate" feeling. By evening's end it felt like we had many new friends and had spent time with family. I highly recommend numerous visits to this outstanding Dinner Theatre    [31 Jul 2007 11:07:49]
