Great for lunch or dinner
The Blue Corn has become a "must" for me. I particularly enjoy the prickly pear tea, it's wonderful. For a light lunch or snack, try the Tortilla Soup with a side of Chicken Taquitos. For a heavier meal, my daughter strongly suggests the green chile burrito. A casual place, very affordable, and very
"Santa Fe".    [24 Aug 2001 23:29:55]

Food was and is awful. Service is non-existant, beer is fair.    [01 Apr 2003 14:07:12]

The Applebee's of Santa Fe
Nothing but a Santa Fe pub with indifferent food and service. It might be fine if you are a local just heading out to get a quick feed, but if you are a visitor looking for a meal that truly captures the flavor of Sante Fe, look elsewhere. Think of Blue Corn Cafe as the Applebee's of Santa Fe. The one upside: their homemade root beer.    [23 Jun 2003 12:55:10]

Blue Corn Cliche
The Blue Corn Cafe was decent several years ago, but the atmosphere, menu & food is as tired as the cook seems to be. The best thing going for it is its location. Browse all the shops in the building, but go a block or two in any direction to eat. There's plenty of good restaurants that offer a much better Mexican dining experience.
