Restaurant very cold and manager very rude
I was just in Carrows to eat dinner at exactly 7:30 pm Mountain Standard time.
As I was getting out of my car, a family told me not to go in because it was so cold in the place, so I was already warned, but my family was meeting me there so I went in and yes it was a freezer not a restaurant. I called Mr Nadene Syad who is supposed to be in charge of the restaurant to tell him that his restaurant was so cold it was so uncomfortable to eat. I had two small children crying, I saw another elderly lady who was very cold and other customers leaving and complaining. When I asked the manager why it was so cold, she told me the heating system was not working. We are under a severe cold watch for the night. She actually told me to shut up. I told her our food was cold and that I did not want it and she gave me a box to go and to eat it at home. She was so rude when I asked her for change for a $10.00 bill to give the poor waitress a tip. She told me she could not give out change. When we paid we paid with a credit card and she threw it back at us. I almost lost it and it would have been worse, I wanted to call the police but not to have my children exposed to it, so I decided not to and to call the main manager and let him take care of it. I asked for the main manager who I was given his number I called him and he told me he could not close the place because of his regular customers.
Those regular customers won't be going in even for a cup of coffee.
I can not believe that this restaurant is more desperate for a couple of dollars than to please their customers. All I got from Mr. Syed the main manager was a thank you for calling him. I felt so sorry for those waitresses that they were FORCED to wait until customers go in just to walk out.    [30 Nov 2006 22:52:14]
