Seafood Night
I like the way the restaurant has theme nights. I went on Seafood Night and the meal was superb. I have eaten there prior to this and each and every time the meal was superb. I beleive their Chef to be on the same level as some of the World Class Chefs. I would not hesitate to eat there again nor would I hesitate to take guests there so they too can enjoy the experience.    [10 Dec 2002 16:33:51]

It gives the who's who of Silver someplace to go, I suppose
This to me, is another of Silver's greatest jokes. I must qualify by saying, I'm not a country club type. Even so, this is ridiculous.

Marginally prepared old school classics with servers who know little of food or drink.

Two people at our table ordered a martini once and were asked what type of glasses they'd like because there were only two martini glasses in the bar and one was being used. I ordered a frangelica after dinner up in a heated snifter and first was asked what is it? What do you mean? I asked them to pour hot water in the snifter, empty it and then pour the frangelica in. What I got was a microwaved snifter so hot the glass and liquor burned my lips... along with a dissertation from the waitress about screaming orgasms (the drink). She went on and on about them. Perhaps there's a time and a place for that; I somehow don't imagine a country club being one of them.

Whiz Bang, if you say they're trying, perhaps it's so. I haven't tried them in awhile, and it's not my intention to do so soon. So far, I've had nothing to my taste there.

It was amusing.    [11 Feb 2006 13:59:27]

Well, I thought they were trying......
Sure makes you wonder. Filet was so overcooked I couldn't eat it.    [29 Mar 2006 14:41:49]

We'll go back...
We have tried it twice. Both times the food was very good. The service was good. It is quiet and friendly. We will go back sometime this summer.    [17 Aug 2006 22:21:07]
