Some of the best food in town While the service here is usually slow, the waiters and owners are friendly and the food is quite good. I especially like their appetizers which are varied and somewhat surprising. I didn't expect decent sashimi in Silver City nor did I expect fantastic clams....but Isaac's has both. Their prime rib and calamari are also very good as is their tuna. Music on weekends and a nice shaded patio in the back. They have an adequate beer list, and a better wine list (if you want a better beer list go to Shevek and Mi). Full bar with some interesting cocktail suggestions. Overall a great place to relax and one of my favorite places to bring out-of-town guests. [08 Jun 2007 13:03:52]

If you don't mind slow food... You will find the best food in Silver City here. Slow service and delivery is complicated by appetizers arriving with the entree. That's kind of weird. We had a large party and our food arrived at different times which was not something that made us terribly happy, but after the culinary disaster that was Grandma's, the delicious food was a welcome change. The bar gladly made my funky margarita requests. Again, they were slow, but the quality was top-notch. A gay pride flag hung over the back bar was a welcome sight to us 11 gay motorcyclists visiting from the big city and expecting no quarter. Will be worth a second visit. [04 Sep 2007 02:21:41]

Awful This restaurant/bar has the worst service I have ever encountered. The manager and service manager seem much more interested in talking to friends then giving decent service to their customers. The food comes straight from the freezer and is overpriced. [14 Apr 2009 11:48:56]
