Darn good food, hard-working people
The owners of this restaurant share my work ethic-- they work long hours, they hustle, they strive to please every customer who walks in the door (or orders food for delivery). The food shows this same care and attention.
A real bargain is the 'build-it-yourself' burrito platter. You don't actually build it yourself, but you choose from a wide variety of meats, vegetables, sauces, toppings, etc., all for a flat rate.
The roast beef chimichanga is also tasty and is available either topped with guacamole and sour cream or smothered in cheese and red or green chile. [17 Aug 2004 20:40:14]

If Only They Served Margaritas
Discovered this gem in 2005 during one of the rain delays at the Blues Festival. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, and the inside decor could use some help from a decorator, but really, who cares? We're there for the food, not the wall tchochkes. There is true flavor in the food here and the service is excellent. During our visit to Silver earlier this month we ate here twice. Had a different combination plate each time and loved both. Quality Food, Reasonable Prices
La Cocina has good quality Mexican food and best of all, they deliver to your door when you don't want to get out. On a cold winter, snowy day, they are the only restaurant in town that delivers. They food and service are great! Who cares about the decor! [05 Dec 2007 14:00:08]
