Best Green Chile Cheeseburger in Town They have one waitress, who is as friendly as she has time to be, one cook, and pretty much one attitude.
It's pretty consistant as far as quality and service go. The hours are what get a bit confusing. Sometimes they're open, sometimes they're not.
But when I'm anywhere else, I always miss those green chile cheeseburgers... and the fries are home-fries... also the best in town.
Watch ordering carry-out... if it sits long at all, can be very greasy... but then again, isn't that why we eat such things? [10 Jun 2006 11:43:47]

Yep, it's a little strange I have been in there when the counter was literally covered with dirty dishes and the poor waitress looked like she was about to cry. The food is actually quite good, though the best thing to do is to probably burritos they sell on the side of the road from a thermal carrier sitting on the back of car - look for them along the highway into town. Their carne adovada may be the best I've ever had. They're also the only place in town I ever had mole, though that was a special dish. Be prepared for the service at the restaurant (which is loaded with Mexican kitsch) to be like wandering into a Bunuel film. [14 Dec 2006 20:24:55]

Finally, REAL Mexican food! As a chef/restaurant owner...THIS is where I go to eat Mexican food! The Carne Adovada is the best in the county....hands down!! Sure, you wait, but, great food is worth waiting for. And yes, they do mole...real mole, not ranchero sauce that others call mole. This is how you eat in the real Mexican towns in the interior of Mexico. Service was great, when one person does it all on the floor, you wait, but, that is not a complaint. [12 Jun 2008 21:08:50]
