Great Serivce - good food
You will normally be served within 10 minutes even at the busiest time of day(lunch hour). The food isn’t quite on par with the Kountry Kitchen (in my opinion) but you can’t beat it if you're are in a hurry. The staff is attentive and fast.    [04 Jun 2004 18:03:59]

As I have mentioned in other reviews, I have found something to like in most of the Mexican restaurants in Silver City.

My favorite dish at Mi Casita is the BBQ Chimichanga. In case you don't know, a chimichanga is a burrito that has been fried so that the tortilla wrapper becomes crisp. What makes this different is the use of pulled pork in a sweet barbecue sauce as a filling-- a welcome change from the usual seasoned beef or chicken. The chimichanga (and other fried items on Mi Casita's menu) are fried gently-- not too dark, not too greasy. Yum!    [17 Jun 2004 22:52:02]

Just discovered it
Very popular with the 8 - 5 crowd because they are FAST. Tried a green cheese enchilada because a friend said their food isn't as hot as the other places. It was warm enough, but the flavor was there! Will be going back to try different dishes.    [05 Jul 2004 14:28:24]

Best out of the way restaurant in Silver City
Mi Casita serves up some of the best Mexican dishes in Silver City. I am hooked and go quite often. The servers are good when it isn't very busy. Their ice tea is the best in town. Enchiladas are excellent and I have one at least once a week.    [05 Dec 2007 14:07:00]
