One of the best, if not the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. Not to best missed is the very, very special Chinese Chicken Salad, Strawberry Chicken or Shrimp, and Amlee Beef, not to mention their wonderful Hot and Sour Soup! Don't miss this one. [20 Feb 2004 20:09:52]

Incredible Food - An Absolute Must Amlee Gourmet Chinese in Las Vegas is probably my favorite restaurant on the planet Earth. If you remember and loved Chin's on The Strip, this is all the same recipes only less pretentious. The tossed shredded chicken salad is unique and wholly memorable. The Amlee Beef will melt in your mouth and the Strawberry Chicken is a signature dish there - simply delicious. Glazed bananas are a fun dessert. Everything tastes fresh and light and mouth watering. I love this place! [05 Dec 2007 19:21:47]

Good Place to be SEEN but not to EAT The atmosphere at Amlee is excellent, it is bright, comfortable, and memorable. The expensive cars parked outside and the expensive clothes of the patrons clearly signal this is a classy place, which it is. Just understand that that doesn't mean their food is any good. The food was excellent quality, but of entirely forgettable taste. The flavors are so completely bland that it makes me wonder if that's the secret to Amlee's success, don't have flavors to offend anyone, and no one will complain. The Beef dish I had was of course palatable, but reminded me of the meat used at Wendy's in flavor. The Strawberry Chicken sauce tasted so much like shortcake glaze that I wanted to ask for whipped cream, which doesn't sound unpleasant, but then remember this is on chicken. The Candied Bananas were very impressive while they were being prepared at my table side, but not so in my mouth, it tasted like baby food with hard caramel shell. If the chef kicked up the spices and decided to use more salt and seasonings I would definitely go back. [14 Nov 2008 01:38:17]
