Best in Reno
Bertha Miranda's is simply the best Mexican food in Reno. There is nothing presumptuous about the atmosphere or the food, it is casual dining at its best. The menu is extensive, and Bertha's is one of the few places in Reno where you can get real tamales and chili rellenos. Rice and beans come with every meal (although if you order items a la carte, you'll need to ask for rice and beans). They also have amazing Mexican desserts, but you'll probably be too full to enjoy them. Bertha Miranda's is the BEST
We discovered Bertha Miranda's after a night at the Reno Pioneer Center. The restaurant has the most wonderful Mexican food, and their regular margaritas are excellent, too! My particular favorite is the chile rellenos - I've searched for good ones for over 12 years since leaving LA, and Bertha's are fabulous!
