If you like lobster, don't miss this jewel of Long Island. The lobster rolls are great but the lobster platter was outstanding. If you don't mind the beachy atmosphere, it's definitely worth a visit. It the perfect stop for lunch if you're day tripping on the South Fork. [12 May 2003 17:09:32]

Great Food! This past weekend was my first time eating here and the reviews written by everyone, including the NY Times, Newsday, Zagat, etc., are all true! The lobster roll was delicious, and the fried clam strips were so tasty and crunchy! I would highly recommend this to anyone heading out to Montauk. Don't expect a glamorous setting, it's more of a casual, fun place to eat! [22 Sep 2003 14:39:16]

Always known as "Lunch" before it was called the Lobster Roll -been there since at least the mid 70's serving all of the same great basic seafood stuff in a fun, beachy atmosphere.
- gets crowded during the summer (closed off season) - so you might have to wait or give your name and come back. [28 Sep 2004 16:28:08]

Not So Great. Went to this place in June 2007. This place is living off its past. Service was geat. The fried clam and shrimp special was obviously frozen fair. My one and only visit to this establishment after passing it by numerous times on the way to montauk. The owners need to stop living off the fame of what once was a supposedly great place. They have become complacent or lost touch with what goes on at this location. [09 Jun 2007 20:05:33]
