Alices Kitchen makes great poached eggs!
Order some nice coffee and some poached eggs with toast on toast at the purple roofed Alice's Kitchen on Sheridan Drive. Hot, tasty, and served with a smile. And if you're in the mood for something a bit more extravagant, try their strawberry pancakes or pigs-in-a-blanket. Yuuummmmm! Strawberry Pancakes are Best.
I love eating strawberry pancakes at Alice's on a Sunday morning after church. I real taste treat to start the day off right. Also, in the winter time Alice's bowl of chilli -- homemade, of course -- is the best in western New York. Alice is one GUTSY lady!
We visited Alice's Kitchen for breakfast in August 2001. We were quite impressed with how well organized the place was ... Since we are non-smokers, we were ESPECIALLY impressed by the segregated "Smoking" section. This was a section of the dining room that was COMPLETELY ENCLOSED by glass walls with doors. There was even a warning sign posted on the door of the Smoking room stating that children under the age of 16 were not permitted to enter. Another thing we were pretty impressed with was the fact that Alice is gutsy enough to demand payment in cash (only). You go, Alice!

PS -- Food was pretty good - Since we had breakfast (and you can't really mess that up) we would say that Alice definitely can run circles around IHOP!    [13 Mar 2006 21:36:44]

Alice's food, is cooked by underrated cooks. 2 of the many are great at what they do, not to mention work over 40 hours every week, and you can't tell on sunday that they are tired. Waitress keep the problems away from the tables, and always try their best to please you. The hostess and buss person, do their job with no complaints, thus Alice's has the'r motto down, Don't go out, come home to Alice's    [13 Nov 2006 10:11:06]
