Good jamaican food with beautiful Waiter/owner
I'm Italian some friends from Brooklyn show to me this place , it's a small not pretentious cafe , with genuine and very good jamaican food ! you'll enjoy it in every occasion , everytime the Beautyful Owner?waiter make feel at home ! she's gorgeous ! it's like in a Spike Lee movie !! great place !! everytime I'm comin to NY I there to visit it .    [07 Aug 2003 20:26:45]

The best food i have ever tasted
I give Brawta a 10 out of 10. The staff is always so friendly to me, they make me feel right at home. It is by far my favorite place to eat, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for fresh, flavorful food, in a colorful and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy it with friends and loved ones!

Okay for what it is
I've eaten here twice and ordered a large take out order for a party. Standard Jamacian fare in average sized portions. Service is slow in general and you may need to remind them if you aked for hot sauce or to refill your water glass. The ambiance is fine for a local place.
