Comfort Food
My friend and I had to move away about 18 years ago, but to different locations. When I was talking to her the other day somehow it came up that she still remembers Bocce's phone number and she rattled it off. I could have cried. We both could have. Pizza Heaven
As someone who has lived in Buffalo and in cities throughout the U.S., I offer the following observations: (1) anybody who answers Domino's, Pizza Hut, Pappa John's, or any other national chain when asked what the best pizza is really has no idea what they are talking about; (2) any twon in which more than 5 percent of people give such an answer doesn't have good pizza; (3) Buffalo pizza in general is among the best anywhere; (4) though the pizza is a different style (i.e., stuffed crust), Chicago (as in the real pizza in Chicago - not Pizzeria Uno at your local mall) - is also superb. Try a Giordano's pizza next time you are there); and (5) Bocce pizza is the best in Buffalo and in fairness probably some of the best anywhere in the U.S. Try it with extra sauce.    [04 Aug 2003 15:57:21]
