Mother's Day Feast
Being a short distance from Harry's, my family and I often dine there. Today we took our mother to celebrate Mother's Day. The overall ambiance - the lights, the river, the food and the conversation - was the perfect way to spend the day. My brother and I will be renting the banquet room there to celebrate my parent's 50th birthdays and their 30th wedding anniversary next year. Gerry McCarthy is one of the best managers in the city. NOT WORTH THE MONEY
My husband and I took our three younger children to dinner at Harry's. We ordered only 2 children's meals, 2 draft beers, 2 salads, 2 seafood chowders and 1 dozen steamers. Everyone drank water with their meals. My son's hamburger was ordered to be cooked medium-well, it was very red. The chowders were VERY lean on the seafood, and the steamers came out cold. My husband and I didn't even have a dinner menu item and we only order 2 kid's meals. The ridiculous cost of this "meal" was $58.00. We felt like we were robbed. NOT HAPPY
We heard about Harry's place and decided to try it out.We were very unhappy with the food and the service.I ordered the sirloin steak dinner.I had to ask the server if a roll or bread came with the meal.She finally brought the bread over when I was half done with the meal.I never got a vegetable.When the meal came the mashed potatoes were cold.My wife's dinner was worse.We will never be back or recommend this place to anyone.

FIRST RATE
Have been (there) many times and it keeps getting better... Great service with a little playfulness from our waitress (Sara) setting the mood. The dinner, atmosphere and cooperative sunset made for a memorable evening.    [26 Oct 2007 15:08:07]
