Save the Airfare
I always feel as if I am enjoying my friends, wine, food, and music on a Paris back street. I think this is as close as you can get without flying to Paris, France.    [05 Sep 2001 09:40:19]

Check It Out...
The food is spectacular. Make it a point to stop and taste it yourself. Cozy little bar and you are always in good company. Jean-Jacques is quite the comedian.    [08 Feb 2003 17:53:14]

What a Find
My wife and I frequent good resturants in the Hudson Valley. We went here for the first time on Saturday night. Unbeliveable. We go to Quebec City every summer and this made us feel like we were back there again. 5 star everything: food, service, and atmosphere.    [14 Apr 2003 11:24:04]

Exquisite Bistro
The duck is not only unchained, but unleashed! It's marvelous as a confit or crispy - especially when accompanied by one of the imaginative and delicious fruit sauces - especially raspberry. The house recommended wines are delightful. When I want the best in French in the US, I leave Manhattan for Kingston.    [25 Jul 2003 15:13:45]

What a Pleasure!
My husband and I always try to get up to Kingston as often as possible simply to enjoy this lovely restaurant. They do everything well. What a pleasure to relax and enjoy this special place.    [24 Jan 2004 21:13:13]

World Class Food!
What a wonderful restaurant in the heart of Kingston! The food is amazing. The owner, Jean-Jacques, is quite friendly, visiting his customers at their tables. The BEST French food we have ever had!    [04 Mar 2004 10:09:27]

Amazing
We are just in total awe after our time here... The ambiance, owner, and staff are all five stars... Incredible from the time we walked in. Brian, behind the bar, Robin and Elizabeth, our waitresses, welcomed us warmly and made us feel like part of the Le Canard family. The owner, Jean-Jacques, came and visited our table in a whirlwind of smiles and laughs. None of the stereotypical 'snootiness' often associated with French restaurants was found here. The wine list was a real surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed our Volnay L'er Cru and the food was delightful.    [13 Jan 2006 11:15:44]

Always a Pleasure!
I don't know any restaurant in Manhattan where you will enjoy yourself as you will at Le Canard Enchaine. Not only is the food always top shelf, the service is as delightful as you will find anywhere. Warm, marvelous people. Vive le Canard Enchaine!    [23 Oct 2007 17:00:19]
