Excellent Excellent Excellent
This restaurant has the best atmosphere, friendliest staff and wonderful dining.

The food is down to earth and served with the most caring staff.

Owners of this restaurant are always on the premises. I would highly recommend any dish they serve.

We drive for 4 1/2 hours a couple times a month just to spend the evening here, which should say how wonderful an experience dining with them is.    [21 Oct 2003 14:07:24]

Cameron's Lake Placid
We chose to dine at Cameron's since it had a children's menu and we assumed that it was a family friendly place...until we found out that it was the opposite and walked out again! After having looked at the menu (or should we call it the list of what we are allowed to do and not to do?), we concluded that we could not spend our money at a place where they feel justified in telling the customer their regulations and expectations! We were infuriated with the threatening tone (read this menu carefully, just one trip to the salad bar (and I mean it), children will have to be removed if they do not behave, if you share a plate you'll be charged more, etc.). Needless to say, we felt insulted and not welcome at all and decided to give our money to more appreciative and less insulting restaurants in the area! Why do they have a children's menu (10 and under at that!) at all?    [18 Mar 2004 12:32:41]

Ditto to Excellent Excellent
We, also, drive long distances just to dine at Cameron's. Everything Donna B. says is very true! The steaks they serve are the best I've ever eaten anywhere (and I travel all over the country a lot). They also keep young children in check so that we who choose to dine out don't have to experience the nightmare behavior of some children we've seen so much of lately in restaurants. Thanks Cameron's    [02 Apr 2004 09:35:53]

Oh This Place Is Bad
The décor was grotesque and the menu was odd. Overpriced and bland, we absolutely hated Cameron’s. Some of the worst food we’ve ever had. People actually drive miles for this?    [30 Sep 2006 22:45:10]
