Cafe review The upstairs cafe is great and a relative bargain; much less than the prix fixe at the downstairs formal restaurant The cafe prix fixe is $32 but you can also order a la carte. The dishes we tried were: leek soup with salmon, venison with couscous, herring 4 ways, smoked salmon and gravlox combination and for dessert chocolate gamache with red pepper sorbet. Each dish was superb and well presented. Incited to try the formal restaurant on the next visit to NYC. [27 Apr 2002 08:58:50]

Best Swedish in US Heard that Aquavit has now moved (new reports please) so I hope the new digs are as romantic as the old ones--loved the old waterfall. Excellent innovative cuisine (love the salmon)--portions are a little skimpy though. Top notch service. One of NY's finest. [22 Feb 2005 13:23:56]
