Lunch price-fixe is an amazing deal
I just caught the tail end of their price-fixe lunch time one Saturday afternoon and caught an amazing deal--an under ten-dollar meal that delivered a soup, salad, and entree, (as well as very good bread) plus coffee or tea to follow. I chose their freshly ground hamburger for the entree, and it was unbelievably good--intensely flavorful, tender and moist, served slightly goofily on fresh foccacia. A marvelous and surprising deal. Other entrees, including the standard penne with tomato and fresh mozzarella sauce, was rich and well-prepared. All the servings were much larger than one would expect for a lunch menu. I haven't tried dinner there yet, but it's a safe bet that it will be equally good.    [04 Jan 2000 21:02:11]
