Acceptable. Your average coffee house, with fairly good coffee and really cute patrons and waiters.
Service is sometimes slow and you need to flag the poor boy at the counter down to get his attention, but they are always courteous and friendly, although a bit gossipy.
Overall a fairly good hangout, especially for the younger gay and lesbian crowd. [05 Aug 2002 16:33:34]

Cheap. I am 19 and go to the Big Cup sometimes. A lot of the guys that go there, I feel are just looking for a one night stand, nothing more! I am so glad I have a boyfriend whom I love very much. All the guys I have ever met at the Big Cup have all turned out to be the wrong ones for me. And yes, it is VERY VERY GOSSIPY! [07 Oct 2002 13:53:33]

Big and juicy The service is alright the view is always great. The coffee is always HOT, the cream is always so thick. The place is a bit gossipy, but who doesn't like talking about muscular men. I have had some interesting conversations there, which have been pretty long and somtimes can be hard, to get out of. [19 Mar 2003 21:33:48]

Thank The Gay Gods For Big Cup After my beloved Factory of Christopher Street became uncomfortable under the tutilage of str8 owners, I moved my writing and reading office uptown to Chelsea.
Gay boys continue to need a hang out, ixnay on the barsay/clubsay, and Big Cup is there. [11 Apr 2004 16:11:18]
