I took some of my family here to eat one night and, aside from a few spilled drinks, the five of us agreed that it was one of the best dining experiences that we had ever had. We were seated in the Library on the second floor where the eyes of the pictures followed us as we made our way to our table. From the two comedic skeletons to the talking statue of Zues, Jekyll and Hyde contributed to one of the most entertaining evenings that I have experienced during my last few years in New York.    [07 Oct 2003 14:06:44]

Don't Waste Your Money!
I have four children under age 11. We went on vacation while in NYC because it was highly recommended. First of all, the tables dishes, cups, etc were filthy dirty! The food came entirely different from what it said on the menu and then the waitress told us it was a *misprint* on the menu! They told the same thing to others around us. The food was ok. The atmosphere was very cool. The food took forever to arrive and you pay $2.50 per person *entertainment charge* which is a complete joke. They add on an 18% tip for parties of 6 or over and it is the first time we have ever lowered that and we usually tip 20%. It was horrible.
