Description

Established by the late Italian chef Luigi Nanni in 1968. His Legacy continues with some of the original staff serving traditional Italian food made famous by the legendary chef. The "Cappellini alla Nanni" is the signature dish but there are many other choices on the menu.

Felt like I was in Italy
I've been many times, had many different things. Everything I've ever tasted at this small yet comfortable restaurant has been throughly enjoyed. Some of the best things I've had are the Veal. There are many different ways to have it prepared but everyone I've tried so far was great. The number one dish is the simple pasta dish. Nanni's sauce is to die for. Go in late fall for the white truffles. They are a bit on the costly side, but are extremly tasty. Also, I recommend dessert.    [19 Sep 2002 10:04:23]

A "regular" at Nanni's every October for over 10 years. A "must" for every trip to NY City. Business associates entertained there have been unanimous, too - superb! Authentic, top drawer service, they remember your name . . . even if you're an irregular "regular" like me.    [29 Aug 2004 17:45:56]

The Best Italian Restaurant in NYC!
The soft shell crabs were delicious, the pasta and veal dishes were fantastic, the tiramisu was phenomenal, and the service was world class!!!    [19 Aug 2006 23:57:11]
