Best bar food in New York
Reservoir was the best bar and grill that we went during a recent week long holiday in New York. The waitress (can't remember her name but she had long brown hair) who served us on both occassions was the friendliest person we met whilst in the city. We first visited on the nioght of the golden globes and she made a special point of telling us that The Office and Ricky gervais had won awards (we are British). It was unexpected personal touches like this that ensured we would return.

On our return three nights later she remembered us, made us feel very welcome by refering to us as 'her boys' and asked about how our holiday was going.

The portions were generous without being overwhelming and tasted fantastic. Both the buffalo burger and Steak sandwich were gorgeous.

With cheap drinks, an excellent selection on the jukebox and a laid back friendly atmosphere Reservoir really is the place to go in New York.    [02 Feb 2004 06:04:35]
