HORRIBLE service
My party left this restaurant feeling absolutely abused by the staff. The only good thing I can say is that the decor was nicely done. The food was mediocre, at best, and the service was beyond bad. The host was rude and abrupt, but the server was THE worst. I really felt as though he considered our small party of three to be a hassle. I asked for clean flatware, and he actually tossed it onto the table. That was before he yelled at me about a missing ticket as we left. I'm not sure what's going on at Tapas Lounge, but it really needs to be corrected.    [20 Oct 2003 22:04:53]

Really Bad Wait Staff.
Loved the food and wine, but the waiter had my credit card for about 20 minutes. I think he was expecting me to order more(We were a party of 6). Then he "couldn't find it" for another 20. We were all outside waiting and waiting and then finally they "found it". Who knows what they were doing with it.    [20 Sep 2006 15:17:06]

Not any better
I see it's been a while since anyone noticed this place, but it hasn't gottem much better. It's supposed to be a spanish place with spanish music, but there was some kind of hip-hop spanish rock playing, and it was way too loud. You go to a lounge to talk and relax, not feel the bass line throb in your ears. The food is pretty good, but about $2 too much for everything. The manager isn't very good, a heavy accent I couldn't understand, and spent more time on the computer playing with their music program than she did working. And even with all that, we still heard the same music over and over. They should try playing more than 10 songs. I won't be back.    [12 May 2007 21:54:36]
