A delightful repast on the Bowery
My wife and I had a wonderful experience finding this pleasing, brightly lit jewel on the Bowery. However it is no longer W K Restasurant, but Eat Inn, same 42 Bowery address. The sauces are beautifully scented with oriental spices and never too heavy. We ordered the Lobster in Ginger and scallion sauce, Scallops with a lemon and pepper sauce and wonder flavored mixed vegetables. The food was so food I had
visions of Babbette' Feast dancing in my head. We were offered free desert
-- mango pudding --that was a delight. The check for the two of us was a shade over $30! By the way even the ginger tea was exquisite. This was the best chinese food I ever ate in my life.
