Everyone Should Try This Place! This is a great place, whether alone, with a loved one or for a private party. The food is delicious and I'm excited to try something new each week from the menu. The atmosphere is to die for, because I really feel as though i'm in an 1800s tavern with the fireplaces and low ceilings. The staff is courteous and friendly and I never feel rushed for a meal. If you don't try this at least once, you truly are missing out on one of the city's best restaurants. [01 Feb 2002 10:53:02]

The best restaurant in NY The atmosphere of this restaurant is amazing. I love the food and the new owners as well. Don't miss out! Go tonight! [25 Oct 2002 23:40:08]

New Owners Or Old, the place can't be beat! I have been eating here for almost 30 years and the place is as great as ever! The addition of a bar (separate room) is a nice touch, although it does diminish the number of table seats available for dining. My biggest complaint is that you can only get the fabulous Chicken Pot Pie on the Sunday Brunch, and they no longer make creme caramel. Other than that, it's a "10". [10 Feb 2003 11:14:38]

A Gem! We ate here during a recent trip and loved it! The restaurant is warm and inviting and the food is superb. The owner, Jane, is a delight. We can't wait for a return trip in the spring to try out the courtyard dining. [22 Feb 2003 12:15:45]

A Handsome Waiter is my choice! Hi, My name is Carol Ann Morgan and my son Michael Moran is one of the fortunate staff members at this establishment. From what Michael has experienced while working at the inn, we can only be led to believe that it is one of the finest establishments withing the city to dine. The glowing remarks about the owner, Patrick, and the remaing team that makes the restaurant what it is, are all he talks about. A big thank you from a mom who very much appreciates all the kindnesses shown to her son, and a message to all that work with Michael. You have one of the most dedicated and charming young people one would ever hope to meet working with you and even more importantly, a very honest, loyal and kindhearted human being. I among all am blessed to have Michael as my friend. The bonus for me however; he is also my son, and one that I am so undeserving of. Take care all of you and keep safe. I look so forward to meeting each and every one of you. Carol Ann, Michael's mom! [23 Feb 2003 21:47:34]

Great evening I went to Ye Weverly Inn on October 3 and loved it. Absolutely one of the best in the city. I had steak with home made fries and the best salad/ appetizer I have ever had. Service was great and talk about romantic athmosphere.
Try it. [05 Oct 2003 16:30:50]

Good Food ! Bad staff ! The food is great but is an ape inside called Patrick which is very annoying. It smells horribly and is inpolite with the customers. [15 Nov 2005 16:04:17]
