If You Haven't Been to Wo Hop, You Don't Know What You're Missing
Have been going there since high school with the same group of friends. Cheap prices, good food. Don't expect anything fancy but if you want the real feel of Chinatown/New York go there around midnight (they're 24 hours).    [23 Jul 2003 10:57:08]

Wo-nderful
Simply put, the best food for the price in NYC. Any noodle dish is very tasty, and the soups are great. After a couple trips, you'll be buying the t-shirt and talking to the waiters. As classic a NYC experience as seeing Central Park or strolling down Fifth Ave. Take off your tourist goggles when you walk down the stairs to the basement and savor the experience. If you don't like Wo Hop; you don't like NYC    [05 Aug 2003 09:10:47]

The Best
Love this place. Best Chinese food - fresh - not that typical MSG-tasting food.    [14 Aug 2003 23:50:04]

We Love Wo Hop
They always have great service and great food. The line goes fast and its worth the wait. Our favorites include: chicken and broccoli, Singapore mei fun, ribs, cold sesame noodle, all soups, spicy paste, their "everything in it soup," etc.    [20 Dec 2003 10:02:55]

Incredible and 24hrs
I love this place; the pork fried rice is out of this world. Avoid the bathrooms.    [13 Jan 2004 11:26:48]

Original Dishes
I prefer the upstairs dining area. They serve dishes you won't find anywhere else, including "downstairs"! Try the barbecued shrimp. Large, in the shell, bathed in a delicious sauce with ginger and scallions. Or, the mussels in a hot pot. Large, green New Zealands in a garlic onion sauce. You won't have any leftovers, guaranteed!    [19 Jan 2004 10:16:42]

Wo Hop
Wo Hop is a great place to get some Chinese food at any time of the day. Their service is amazing and their food is even better. The wait staff will go out of their way to please you. I'm a regular there and when I walk in I feel like a queen. Definitely try this place out! The best time to go is after midnight. The place is so alive at that time.    [16 Feb 2004 19:15:14]

Downstairs Upstairs
The upstairs is not the same restaurant as downstairs. Don't be fooled just beacuse the name is the same.

The dumplings (steamed or fried) are unbeatable. I dont know of any other place that makes them like this. And I've looked.    [20 Mar 2006 17:45:04]
