Pretty good food, ruined by service problems.
I have eaten here on many occasions. It is relatively pleasant usually, and the food varies from decent to good depending on the dish in question. However, where this restaurant really falls on its face is in its poor service. I recently went with my elderly parents for breakfast, upon making a relatively harmless complaint about one of our dishes the manager in question told our party that if we had problems with the food we should eat elsewhere. I have never encountered such an appalling level of service on the UES, and certainly will avoid this place for the forseeable future.    [07 May 2006 15:31:55]
