What Happened? What is the Stissing House thinking? The menu is disorganized, the food choices are poor and the actual dishes are sloppy and of poor quality. What a major disappointment. I was shocked to see what a mess they made of the menu and the food. [12 Dec 2004 08:28:24]

Stissing House a Must We have been going up to the area for years and have always thought that Stissing House was no more than a TGIF Restaurant disguised in a beautiful house. But since new management has taken over - wow! The food is fantastic. Fresh, interesting, and and above all delicious! Kudos to the new team! Can't wait to become a regular! [04 Feb 2005 18:46:30]

New Management - Great French American Tavern Now that Michel & Patricia Jean have taken over, the food is good, the wines are great and the ambiance is wonderful. A lovely spot for lunch or dinner. [02 May 2006 10:29:40]

Excellent A great find where you don't expect it.
I thought all of the food was excellent and quite fresh. The seafoods were fantastic especially the moules and the frites were perfect. Good wine list and good service with reasonable prices for the area. My only complaint would be their bread. While homemade, it wasn't my cup of tea. [04 Dec 2006 12:41:19]
