Arnies is some of the best Italian food you will ever eat. Don't let the bar downstairs frighten you from climbing the stairs to culinary heaven. I moved to Maine 15 years ago but always make a point of eating at Arnies with every visit to the north country.    [28 May 2003 14:56:24]

Arnie's has History.
Arnie's has been a Plattsburgh mainstay for many years. It is popular with the older folk and those reminiscing during a return visit to Plattsburgh. The food is fine, but nothing special. Offerings are not much more than an upscale Pizza house. Service is very good and friendly, as many patrons are regulars and know the staff personally. I do take out with Arnies. It is just as good at home! The only problem is that I dont get the great staff waiting on me or picking up after my meal. Arnie's now has a nice dining area in the bar area, so if you cant do all the stais you can just stay down stairs and get to enjoy the same great tasting food! Best Veal Parmesan EVER!

The best darn Italian food in the north country.
If your looking for great Italian food and your in the Plattsburgh area, there is only one destination and that is Arnie's. This place has been a family tradition for decades. A favorite for almost everyone in the family for their birthday dinner and any time.
