Fun in the Sun The Turtle has become THE summer party place in the 'burgh. Students, locals and visitors alike flock to the restaurant which boasts indoor and outdoor seating, bars and live music right on the water. The food and munchies are huge and affordable and the drinks are great. Try the Long Island Iced Teas--best around. The Turtle is the perfect place to meet for after work drinks or party up all weekend. Don't miss out! [11 May 2002 19:49:06]

Location and Drinks - Not Much Else Waterfront location is its attraction; the food is definitely not. The bar can be fun and there is a good mix of people; however, the food and service are just awful! Being a local person, I have given this place several chances, only to be disappointed each time. Stick to the drinks. On the plus side, for a small fee you can dock a boat and access this waterfront location via Lake Champlain. [26 Sep 2004 20:14:07]

Decent View, Bad Beer and food Nice location, but the tap beer is generally flat and served in plastic keg cups. Food is so-so. More of a place to be seen and drink than a real restaurant. [22 Jul 2006 18:52:21]
